My youngest son has been diagnosed with mild autism, and despite it being a mild case, he cannot thrive in a public school environment. As a result, we had to enroll him in a private school that caters to his needs. In 2025, he will be completing Grade 12 through the American GED system, where he has been excelling academically. This curriculum seems perfectly suited for him, as he has consistently achieved distinctions in all his subjects. However, the costs for his final year are substantial. The Grade 12 fees, including tutoring, exam fees, and the issuance of his GED certificate, total approximately R32,000 ($1,804.24). As an unemployed mother, I am unable to afford this amount on my own. If you are in a position to assist, my family and I would be deeply grateful for your support.
