Hi, my name is Ellie, I’m Juliette’s Mum. Juliette was our first baby, born back in 2015. She was diagnosed with Hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy when she was 2, which means at some point during labor or birth she experienced a significant period without oxygen. She was never treated for this problem as the doctors didn’t know she had it until she was two. Before that, she underwent lots of tests to understand why she was so poorly at birth. she was given end-of-life care at just 12 days old and we were told to plan a funeral. she went on to live until she was 8. unfortunately during her life, the health of her brain deteriorated significantly, and she was no longer strong enough to maintain her temperature or have the strength to cough. She passed away very peacefully on the 28th of September 2023 at 8:26 in the morning surrounded by her family who loved her more than anything. she has left a huge gaping hole in our family and she is sorely missed. She would have never had a wedding, but we would like to give her the send-off she deserves. She loved being the center of attention and having a fuss made, she hated being ignored! We still don’t know the amount needed for her funeral but we do know we need some help to pay for it. we thank anyone who gives anything towards the funeral, and we appreciate times are tough right now. Any money raised above the cost of the funeral will go to the family to use as they see fit during this extremely hard time thank you, Ellie & John, Juliette’s very proud Mum and dad x
